This is going on my list of the coolest apps – this has been in testing for awhile and now it is finally available! Ibotta is a fun and easy way to earn real money just for buying your favorite products in the grocery store. You can earn up to $20 or more each time you use the app. It is full of your favorite brands and items too! Currently there are offers for Capri Sun, Mio, Oscar Mayer Lunch Meat, Uncrustables, Jif, Dove, Quaker and many more!
You can currently download this FREE app here - the app is only compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd, 4th & 5th generation) and iPad. You will also have to have iOS 5.0 or later. Ibotta for Android will be available shortly.
Here is how it works…
- Before Shopping Choose your Offers – the more you choose, the more you earn. Take a quick poll, watch a short video or even just looking at a recipe. Each action will earn you more money once you purchase that item.
- Go Shopping! Buy your chosen items at Target, Walmart or Walgreens (more stores will be added soon). Buy items as you always do, use coupons and any other discounts – it will not effect this. You are even able to scan the products bar code through the Ibotta app to be sure you are purchasing the correct product.
- Take a photo of your receipt. They will verify your purchase and the credit will be in your account in about 24 hours! If your receipt is really long you can take more than one picture.
- Get your money (yay!!!). You can either have your money sent to your PayPal account or select a school you want to donate it to. Once you hit $5 in your account, the money is yours!
Everytime you redeem an offer an new offer will be sent to you. You can like or dislike offers so that they can get a feel for what you are interested in. You can also refer friends – you will have a personalized link or you can invite friends via Facebook. You will receive $1 for every friend that signs up!
This is definitely a great way to earn a few coins for the Holidays!
