I have heard so many times over the years that it is a total waste of money to buy Microwave Popcorn – I finally believe it 
Who knew it was so simple to just do it yourself. All you need is a paper lunch bag and some popcorn kernels (I bought a HUGE bag at Kroger for $1.79) Put 1/4 cup of kernels into the paper bag and then fold the bag over a few times – please do not staple it 
. I have a popcorn button on my microwave – which I think is about 3 minutes – and that was perfect.
I added some butter and salt while it was still in the bag, gave it a good shake dumped it into a bowl and viola – super cheap and yummy microwave popcorn for just a few cents per bag!
