Holy cow I was not expecting almost $8 for a small little jar of Tahini today at Kroger!!! But that was exactly what I paid for it and that was a budget buster this week. I have been thinking about that for the past few hours and what I should have done (beside checking how much I had before making my meal plan this week) is ordered it from Amazon! Amazon is a great place to snag inexpensive specialty, natural, organic and gluten free items that are CRAZY expensive in the stores.
The jar I paid $8 for is $4 on Amazon. If you have Amazon Prime you can score FREE shipping on your orders under $25 or you can look for items that are eligible for “Subscribe & Save” - they will ship for FREE and you will get an extra 15% off! So I am thinking of returning the jar and going with this deal.
